Frenzy vs Slinky starring Kym Ayres and Frenzy residents @ Elements

The Slinky vs Frenzy flyer
What happens when you take a global clubbing brand and superpower, plus a bunch of Bournemouth hard house enthusiasts who just like to throw a party now and again... you get Slinky Hard vs Frenzy!
Battle of the glowsticks
Frenzy and Slinky... Bournemouth's hard dance kings
We weren't really sure of what to expect on the night, as it's not often that Slinky asks another local promotion to come in and host a room at one of their nights... but I think it's safe to say that the Frenzy room was a success and we hope the Slinky gang invite us back again... we really enjoyed it!

The Frenzy Sound kicks off proceedings at Slinky
The night started off with Frenzy's number one resident, and purveyor of the Frenzy sound, Cheeky Scott. He kicked off with the obligatory bouncy tunes, but the decision was soon made to take it up a notch... after all, this was Frenzy vs Slinky Hard!
Frenzy vs Slinky Hard... a winning combination
Cheeky Scott goes hard!
Scott had the longest set of the night at two hours which gave him a fantastic opportunity to pull out some harder tracks that he doesn't usually get a chance to play... and by this time room two was packed with the Frenzy faithful... plus a load of Slinky converts to the sound!
Frenzy clubbers take a quick breather
Carl Phoenix takes over for a couple of minutes
Given the fact that Scott's set was two hours long, it was no surprise that he needed to run to the toilets to 'freshen up'... at this point Funky Frenzy resident and one of Wales' finest exports since Tom Jones, stepped up to the plate. That man was Carl Phoenix, and he proceeded to fill in for ten minutes until Scott's return. Cheers Carl!

Chris B's classic hard house repertoire
Next up on the decks after Cheeky Scott was another Frenzy resident and high queen of hard house, Mrs Chris B. Again, the room rose to the challenge of Chris' classic hard house repertoire as he cranked it up another level.

Tidy Trax's new Tidy Girl, Kym Ayres
Following Chris B, and representing Slinky Hard was Mixmag centrefold and newest addition to the Tidy Girls, Miss Kym Ayres. Kym showed just why the hard house juggernaught that is Tidy Trax has recently enrolled her onto their 2007 tour. The volume went up a further notch, and so did the tempo (and temperature) of the second room.
Bournemouth gives the thumbs up to Frenzy vs Slinky Hard
Kym Ayres rocks the Frenzy and Slinky massive!
Slinky Kids love Kym, and that was perfectly demonstrated as the dancefloor went shoulder to shoulder for her set. Kym will be playing at Frenzy's April charity night with ex-Cheeky Little Monkey resident Jody Osman, so make a date in your diary for the doctors and nurses theme!
Happy Frenzy clubbers... don't take life too seriously!
The boys are back in town!
The final set of the evening saw Frenzy's bestest mates, and honourary residents MNKY and Ryki move on to thrash out the last hour and a half. They started off proceedings with the Frenzy anthem 'I Just Can't Stop' by Illogik. If anyone missed out on a free CD on Friday and want to hear more Frenzy anthems please download the 'Sound Of Frenzy' which is accessed here.

Fuse box gets blown.. let's all have a sing-song!
A temporary halt to proceedings occurred when the Weymouth boys managed to blow the Elements' fuse box! This meant a five minute reprieve from the Frenzy and Slinky Hard madness whilst the sound engineer re-connected everything A-Team style... as this was going on the silence was filled with an impromptu sing-a-long of 'If You're Happy and You Know It' (the Kym Ayres and Frenzy Marc remix). Cheers for everyone to joining in the fun... it wouldn't be Frenzy without the group mentality of clubbing together!

Straight outta... Weymouth?
Once the technical issues were resolved MNKY and Ryki carried on where they'd left off with a nod to the old skool with the 'Straight Outta Clapham' track which got all the oldies having it (you know who you are!). The boys carried the room straight through until four in the morning, and made sure that every last one of us left Elements that night with a huge grin, and a little bit of cramp!

"We came, we saw...", I'm sure you know the rest.
